Thanks for visiting. Having spent the greater part of my career as principal and creative director of DanielsDesign Inc., the highly regarded New York branding firm continuously recognized for outstanding achievement in communications design during its four decade run, I’m now prepared to put that major market experience to work for emerging companies and entrepreneurs.

With a client base that has ranged from start-ups to multinational corporations, I’m able to provide the perspective and the skills needed to shape perception, raise visibility, and create long-term brand equity for my clients. I welcome the opportunity to share more of my work with you in person and to discuss ways in which I may be able to help you to identify and leverage the full value of your company’s brand voice by design — clearly, correctly, and consistently.

This site is divided into two sections; one for prospective clients and the other for design entrepreneurs. While separate, both have the same end goal: to give small business owners with big ideas the opportunity and the means to grow their ventures by design.

For clients and prospects that means you’ll be able to consult with award-winning, senior-level specialists to analyze, position, develop, and manage targeted, brand-integrated communications tools and programs without the overhead or management layers inherent in larger firms. My team and I are positioned to provide realworld branding solutions tailored to the needs and budgets of emerging businesses.

For graphic designers wanting to break out of the freelance mode and build a real business, I’ve written a no-holds-barred guide about what it really takes to succeed in the often cyclical, often fickle world of communications design; hands-on experience that they simply don’t teach in design schools.

And because so many design entrepreneurs have issues that impact various aspects of their business, I’ve created the “Ask Larry” page; a Q&A forum that offers you my take on a broad range of design business-related questions that you may have.
